Light and Shadow
I had been given the opportunity to consolidate my learning throughout the 3 year Digital Fabrication minor into a final self-directed project. With an open brief, this meant I was able to explore any aspect of digital fabrication processes that I desired. Being interested in photography, I thought about how I could use digital fabrication processes to enhance my work and allow me to create unique images. I decided to explore ways of applying laser cutting processes to create interesting visual experiences using pattern, light and shadow. This was an experimental project.
